Empowering Futures: The LeADERS Program and Experiential Learning
LeADERS is a dynamic program designed to enhance students' educational journeys at ODU by providing them with opportunities that extend beyond traditional classroom learning. Through LeADERS, students engage in a diverse array of high-impact courses and experiences tailored to prepare them for success in both their professional and academic endeavors after graduation.
At its core, LeADERS focuses on six key areas: leadership, applied work-based learning experience, diversity, entrepreneurship, research/writing, and service learning. These components serve as the pillars upon which students build their skills and knowledge, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching educational experience.
One of the standout features of LeADERS is its emphasis on experiential learning. Rather than simply acquiring theoretical knowledge, students are encouraged to apply what they've learned in real-world settings.
